Rewards

The 5 percent Cashback Bonus program lets you get a 5% Cashback Bonus on specific category purchases, up to the total purchase dollar amount specified in each program you sign up for. Beyond that you will continue to automatically earn up to 1% Cashback Bonus on most other purchases, when you use your Biodegradable Discover more card.

Earn 5% to 20% Cashback Bonus on every purchase you make at over 200 top online retailers.

Your rewards will have no expiration date, and remain active as long as you are actively using your credit card.

Benefits

Cardholders will also receive platinum benefits in addition to the Cashback rewards program. Feel safe when you travel using this card, as you'll auto rental insurance, travel accident insurance, and other fraud and security protection services. Purchases

You can expect a super-low 0% introductory APR for 6 months from the date the account is opened. Following the intro period the Biodegradable Discover Card will carry a low ongoing variable APR of 10.99-20.99%, as determined by your creditworthiness and score.

The zero percent introductory APR on purchases is extremely helpful if you're looking to make large purchases because it gives you the ability to purchase an item and pay it off within six months without having to pay any interest on the purchases. Or you could take advantage of the low intro annual percentage rate by using the card for all of your gas fill-ups, groceries, and other purchases while still taking advantage of many of the benefits and rewards.

Balance Transfers

You'll get a lovely zero percent introductory Annual Percentage Rate for six months from date of your first transfer. The way this is set-up is really helpful because it means you don't have to make any transfers right away, and will still be able to take care of the 0% interest on balance transfers for a full six months, as long as you initiate the transfers before a certain date, determined by when you apply for the credit card. Just keep in mind there is a fairly standard three percent fee for each transfer.

When your intro APR expires your annual percentage rate will be 10.99-20.99% based on your credit worthiness and score. It's a variable rate that will vary with the market based on the current Prime Rate.

When you transfer balances there will be a 3% balance transfer fee for each transaction, and when you have a balance transfer balance the minimum payment due calculation increases by $40.

Other Rates and Fees

If you default on your agreement by making a late payment you could see your introductory and standard APRs rise to 15.99-25.99%, depending on your creditworthiness and other factors considered by Discover®. You will also be subject to a $35 late payment fee.

Whenever you get a cash advance by borrowing money from your credit limit using a cash machine, or get cash directly from your account using convenience checks, or by some other means, you will be charged either $10 or 5% of the amount of each cash advance, whichever is greater, and a 23.99% cash advance APR on the money borrowed.

There is absolutely no set-up fee and zero annual fees.

Credit Score

Our research indicates you'll need a higher than average credit score to get approved for the Biodegradable Discover more card. However, we've found some reports of people getting accepted with as low as a 683 score.
